New Medical picks new VP

November 7, 2007 -- Digital radiography (DR) retrofit firm New Medical has hired Burl Taylor as vice president of sales and service for North America.

Taylor has served in the medical imaging business for the past 30 years, and will be responsible for the company's efforts in the North American market.

New Medical plans to use the upcoming RSNA show in Chicago to debut its products and services for retrofitting existing x-ray rooms with DR technology. The Taiwan-based company manufactures flat-panel digital detectors based on both thin-film transistor and complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) materials.
