November 24, 2017 -- Fujifilm Medical Systems USA plans to add the new FDR Go Plus portable DR system to its fleet of mobile digital radiography (DR) scanners with its debut at RSNA 2017.

FDR Go Plus features a redesign and compact tube head with a collapsible column for enhanced visibility. The portable DR system also features an extra-large display for previewing at the bedside to lessen patient disturbance.

Scanner options include a user-adjustable drive handle, wireless barcode reader, and radiofrequency identification (RFID) card reader. In addition, there is new workstation software with an automated keypad display and the options of Virtual Grid simulation software and Dynamic Visualization II image processing.

FDR Go Plus will become part of the company's new pediatric imaging portfolio, which will include healthcare IT and point-of-care ultrasound. The lineup will also feature the FDR Aqro portable digital x-ray system, FDR D-Evo II cesium iodide DR detectors, and FDR D-Evo GL long-length single DR detector.
