CoActiv's technology supports full-field digital mammography, dedicated breast-specific gamma imaging (BSGI), and DICOM standard digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) exams. PenRad's technology is designed for interpretation, reporting, tracking, and managing clinical data.
In other CoActiv news, the company said that it has validated its Exam-Browser universal image viewer for use with Amazon.com's new Kindle Fire tablet PC. Users will be able to view all 2D, multiplanar reformatted (MPR), and 3D images on the tablet, according to the vendor.
