June 4, 2019 -- Volpara Health Technologies, the parent company of breast imaging software developer Volpara Solutions, has signed a binding agreement to purchase MRS Systems, a longtime provider of patient tracking, communication, and radiology reporting software for breast and lung imaging applications.

The deal will enable Volpara to expand its product portfolio and apply its experience in artificial intelligence (AI) to drive personalized breast care, according to the vendor. Breast care providers will be able to view the patient journey through screening, diagnosis, and treatment, the company said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
