Siemens completes 1st U.S. Mammomat Prime installation

March 5, 2014 -- Siemens Healthcare has completed the first installation of its Mammomat Inspiration Prime Edition mammography system in the U.S.

The system is in place at the Pink Breast Center in Paterson, NJ.

Mammomat Inspiration Prime Edition lowers radiation dose by up to 30% compared to its predecessor model, Mammomat Inspiration, with no loss of image quality, according to Siemens.
