Insightec celebrates Anthem coverage of essential tremor treatment

December 22, 2022 -- Insightec is highlighting that Anthem is now the third national payor to cover MR-guided focused ultrasound for treating essential tremors.

Anthem's decision follows Aetna and Blue Cross Shield Association's decisions in 2021 and 2018 to cover the treatment, Insightec said.

More than 120 centers around the world use Insightec's Exablate Neuro platform to treat essential tremor, according to the firm.
