Carrano has been named vice president of strategic business management for ultrasound, and he will lead and manage long-term relationships with key GE customers at U.S. healthcare facilities, the company said.
Carrano comes to GE from the ultrasound division of Siemens Healthcare of Malvern, PA, where he was division vice president. He served as an executive at the division's predecessor company, Acuson, and has also worked for Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA.
