The device is available on the company's Acuson SC2000 Prime ultrasound system. It features a 90° x 50° field-of-view and helps clinicians visualize the heart valves during repair or replacement procedures, Siemens said. Siemens also plans to sponsor interventional and endovascular training sessions at the meeting, according to the firm.
