Elekta lands deal with Montreal hospital

May 7, 2014 -- Radiation oncology firm Elekta has signed a deal to provide the Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM) with linear accelerators and software.

Elekta will provide its Mosaiq oncology information system, as well as its Infinity linear accelerators with Agility multileaf collimators. The order, which is valued at more than $20 million U.S., was booked in the fourth quarter of Elekta's 2013/2014 fiscal year.
