MedQuist taps Gold for VP post

April 6, 2009 -- Speech recognition and transcription technology provider MedQuist of Mount Laurel, NJ, has named Alan Gold as its new senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Gold most recently served as vice president of sales and managed services for Siemens Healthcare of Malvern, PA.

Gold also held various sales and marketing executive positions at Shared Medical Systems before Siemens acquired the company.
