Jubilant gets Health Canada nod for Drax Exametazime

January 28, 2020 -- Jubilant Radiopharma has garnered Health Canada clearance for Drax Exametazime, a kit for preparing technetium-99m (Tc-99m) exametazime for leukocyte labeling.

The radiopharmaceutical is used during leukocyte-labeling scintigraphy to help in the diagnosis of intra-abdominal infection and inflammatory bowel disease, according to the firm. Drax Exametazime is also available in the U.S.
