ACR rolls out update to Appropriateness Criteria

January 14, 2020 -- The American College of Radiology (ACR) has added one new topic and revised seven others in a newly released update to its Appropriateness Criteria.

The new topic is cerebrovascular disease -- child, and the seven revised topics are as follows:

With the update, the Appropriateness Criteria now encompass 190 diagnostic imaging and interventional topics with 938 clinical variants covering more than 1,680 clinical scenarios, according to the ACR.
