November 20, 2018 -- Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer MaxQ AI has signed a distribution deal with Samsung NeuroLogica.

Under the deal, MaxQ's Accipio Ix intracranial hemorrhage detection software will be integrated into NeuroLogica's medical imaging platforms for the U.S. and European Union acute care marketplace, according to the vendors. Samsung NeuroLogica's sales teams in the U.S. and E.U. will now offer Accipio Ix as an additional option for its OmniTom mobile 16-slice CT scanner.

In addition, MaxQ's AI software will also be available for integration into Samsung NeuroLogica's U.S. and E.U. mobile stroke unit -- a specialized ambulance or other emergency vehicle that is equipped with the firm's CereTom CT system.
