Enlitic wraps up new funding round

By AuntMinnie.com staff writers

April 9, 2019 -- Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Enlitic said it has completed a $15 million financing round.

Led by partner Marubeni, the series B financing also included several new investors from Australia and additional investment from series A funding round leader Capitol Health, which led the company's series A round in 2016. The firm said it plans to use the proceeds to enhance its AI product portfolio, expand its engineering and data scientist teams, and focus on regulatory approval for clinical use in the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, and Japan.

Enlitic noted that it set aside approximately 10% of the round for individual radiologists and other physicians who have either trained or used its AI products.
