March 5, 2019 -- Software developer Icometrix and Konica Minolta subsidiary Invicro will collaborate on automating imaging workflow for core labs around the world.

The companies plan to unite the streamlined core lab processes of Invicro with the advanced imaging technologies of Icometrix, including its icobrain tbi, an artificial intelligence software application for segmenting brain CT scans of patients with a traumatic brain injury (TBI).

This combination may provide researchers with better insight into the diagnosis of disease and help expedite the development of treatments for neurological complications such as TBI and Alzheimer's disease, according to the companies.
