January 13, 2016 -- Computer-aided detection (CAD) and radiation therapy firm iCAD has completed its acquisition of CAD software developer VuCOMP's cancer detection portfolio.

The transaction includes VuCOMP's M-Vu CAD technology platform. iCAD will provide ongoing support services to VuCOMP M-Vu customers.

This is the second deal between the two companies in less than a year. iCAD acquired VuCOMP's M-Vu breast density software in April 2015.
