November 14, 2005 -- Siemens Medical Solutions this week introduced syngo Beat at the American Heart Association (AHA) conference in Dallas.

Available with the Malvern, PA-based company's Tim (Total imaging matrix) MRI application suite, syngo Beat combines cardiac MRI -- morphology, function, tissue characterization, and 3D coronary anatomy -- into a single technology, helping cardiologists detect and diagnose cardiovascular disease earlier. This results in more treatment options and an increase in positive clinical outcomes, according to the company.
