By Scott Williams, MD

April 3, 2002 --

This is the first Thoracic Radiology Textbook available on the Internet. The hypertext provides immediate access to a complete review of all aspects of pulmonary and cardiac radiology, to include recent developments, in a format that can be downloaded for personal use. This manual has proven to be a valuable resource to physicians in training as they prepare for their written and oral examinations. It also provides a broad and easily accessible resource for staff physicians. The manual was written and formatted for Internet distribution by Scott C. Williams, M.D. The information in the manual is updated on a regular basis and therefore, unlike a text book which will become outdated, this resource remains current. This is a major step forward in the distribution of medical information and we believe that this hypertext will help set the standard for all medical information resources in the future. We invite you to review this exciting resource.
