Cedara debuts image streaming software

PACS and medical imaging software developer Cedara Software introduced Cedara directDICOM, a streaming software application designed to support image transmission over the Internet. The application is a high-throughput streaming DICOM network transfer that eliminates the need for pre-fetching and bulk transfer of images in a PACS environment, according to the Mississauga, Ontario-based company.
