Mercury Computer names chief for medical unit

Mercury Computer Systems of Chelmsford, MA, announced today that it has named Didier Thibaud as vice president and general manager of its medical business group.

Thibaud most recently was manager of Mercury’s French subsidiary, and was also managing director of the company’s European medical business group. Thibaud will continue to manage Mercury’s worldwide medical operations from his headquarters in Paris.

Mercury manufactures high-performance computers that are used in medical imaging systems such as CT and MRI scanners.
