For Radon, the deal expands its services portfolio and increases its geographic footprint across the southeastern U.S., according to the Charleston, WV-based firm. Rome, GA-based Premier sells, services, and repairs imaging equipment for modalities such as fluoroscopy and radiography. The 30-year-old company also provides biomedical equipment engineering services.

For its part, Radon assembles, sells, refurbishes, repairs, and services medical imaging equipment across 10 different modalities, including PET/CT, MRI, and x-ray. Its customers include hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare providers in 13 states. What's more, Radon is one of two authorized agents in the U.S. for new MRI, PET/CT, and x-ray systems from United Imaging, the firm said.

Premier CEO and Owner Robin West will join Radon's leadership team. The deal was completed in November 2022. Terms were not disclosed.
