UCSF bestows biomedical and imaging research investigator award

December 8, 2022 -- Duygu Tosun-Turgut, PhD, from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) has been named a distinguished investigator by the university's Academy for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research.

Tosun-Turgut has been a faculty member in UCSF's radiology department since 2011. She is also the founding director of medical imaging informatics and artificial intelligence at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Her research focuses on neuroimaging of neurodegenerative diseases and psychiatric disorders.
