Both firms are now operating as Flywheel and offer a biomedical research platform that can connect any organization or dataset across academia, life sciences, clinical, and medical artificial intelligence (AI) sectors. In addition to Flywheel's cloud-based platform, the combined firm will now offer Radiologics' products and services, including imaging informatics.
The funding round was raised in conjunction with the acquisition and will also be used to further expand Flywheel's infrastructure. More financing is expected in the upcoming weeks, the company said.
