The meeting was scheduled to be held in San Diego, but California's social distancing guidelines for large events make the host hotel unable to accommodate an in-person conference, according to the ARRS.
Nevertheless, attendees will be able to access more than 130 sessions through a virtual platform that offers both live participation and on-demand viewing, the society said. Registration will open in January.
ARRS was forced to cancel its 2020 annual meeting, scheduled for Chicago in May, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
