QView software to launch from GE's ABUS scanner

November 23, 2021 -- Software from computer-aided detection (CAD) software developer Qview Medical can now be launched from GE Healthcare's automated breast ultrasound (ABUS) scanner, the Invenia ABUS 2.0.

Instead of connecting with Invenia ABUS 2.0 through an external PC and server, QView's QVCAD application can be accessed through the Invenia ABUS 2.0 Viewer software. This adaption aims to streamline clinical workflow and reduce reading time by up to 33%.

Invenia ABUS 2.0 is designed for using automated ultrasound to detect cancer in dense breast tissue.
