EchoPixel partners with HP on True 3D

By AuntMinnie.com staff writers

December 3, 2015 -- EchoPixel is collaborating with HP on its True 3D virtual reality technology system.

The True 3D system provides users with a way to examine and dissect educational images of patient-specific anatomy. The collaboration will provide medical facilities around the world with the power of 3D visualization, the firm said.

The system now pairs an HP Zvr interactive virtual reality display, powered by zSpace technology, and an HP Z440 workstation with EchoPixel's software, and uses imaging data from all standard medical equipment. EchoPixel also provides expert-derived medical protocols that assist users with step-by-step guidance in specific procedures.
