Ankara, Turkey-based Medlab has digitized its mammography operations using MicroDose Mammography. Medlab will be the first service in Turkey to offer women mammography examinations with half the radiation dose compared to other alternatives, according to Sectra.
MicroDose Mammography is based on Sectra's photon-counting technology, the company said. It has already been installed at hospitals and clinics in 17 European countries as well as in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The device is pending U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval.
