January 3, 2013 -- Imaging services firm RadNet has acquired Lenox Hill Radiology, which operates a cluster of imaging centers in New York City.

Lenox Hill owns and operates several multimodality facilities in Manhattan and also has interests in centers in other areas of New York City. RadNet paid $30 million for Lenox Hill; it said the acquisition would add $40 million in revenue to RadNet on an annualized basis.

RadNet said that Lenox Hill's operations in Manhattan would be a good complement to RadNet's existing businesses in northern New Jersey and other areas around New York City.
