Sorenson will be responsible for global sales, marketing, and business development, TeraRecon said.
From 2004 until 2011, Sorenson served in several executive roles within TeraRecon and helped set the vision, specifications, and sales strategy for the company's iNtuition product line. Most recently, he served as director of Healthcare Sales and Solutions for a provider of enterprise clinical content management solutions.
He also served as director of marketing at GE-Imatron and held various customer service roles at Philips Healthcare.
