It’s time to Think Pink. If you’ve been considering purchasing a new mammography system, there’s no better time than during October.

For every GE Healthcare mammography system sold in the US, we will donate $500 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). We’ll also donate $1 for every pack of GE Whatman lab filtration products purchased this month.

Last year, we donated $75,000 to the BCRF, which paid for 1,500 hours of revolutionary research. This year, our goal is twice that – $150,000 – which will pay for 3,000 hours, or nine months of research. Won’t you help us meet our goal?

STUDY: What is Your Patient’s Experience?
You know, and your technologists know, that women often dread their mammogram because it can be anxiety producing and painful. At GE Healthcare, we’re working to eliminate both with Pristina Dueta, our revolutionary patient-assisted compression device that puts control back into a woman’s hands.
Radiologists at a large Missouri imaging center reported an improvement in compression force leading to potentially better image quality and higher patient satisfaction with no decline in productivity when they started using Dueta last year. In fact, 65% of the nearly 2,000 women who underwent a Dueta exam in their practice during a four-month period used more compression than in their previous exam, as the figure shows.
Listen to what real patients say about their Dueta experience, and
Watch how you can empower them.
Stream This Webinar
Did you miss our webinar, “A Novel Approach: Enhancing the Impact of Breast Compression in Mammography,” last month? No worries. You can stream it at your convenience and hear nationally recognized radiation technologist, Bonnie Rush, RT, president of Breast Imaging Specialists, as she shares a novel approach to improving the breast compression experience for patients.
Ms. Rush, an in-demand speaker, authored and regularly updates the MQSA Made Easy, the definitive manual that explains the Mammography Quality Standards Act. She is also an expert witness in regulatory issues.

SenoBright HD: Designed from the Patient Perspective
Learning that your mammogram was inconclusive or, even worse, shows “something,” can be terrifying for women. That’s why GE Healthcare was the first to introduce contrast-enhanced mammography (CESM). Today, our all-new SenoBright HD CESM provides comfort, clarity, and calm in what can be an incredibly stressful time.
What’s so special about SenoBright HD? The exam takes less than seven minutes* and can be performed on-site, immediately after the screening mammogram. The results are highly accurate and provide an excellent alternative to MRI, freeing up your critical equipment for other MRI uses. SenoBright is also cost effective with excellent results, including fewer false positives compared to other technologies.
