Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon is partnering with artificial intelligence (AI) software provider EnvoyAI to sell and market the EnvoyAI platform.
The platform includes EnvoyAI Exchange and market-ready AI-enablement software that aim to foster broader access and clinical use of medical imaging algorithms. As a distributor, TeraRecon will offer instant access to the platform that contains more than 35 algorithms and focus initial sales efforts on two U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared algorithms from Imbio and Icometrix, as well as one cleared algorithm of its own.
Imbio offers lung density reporting for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease analysis with chest CT scans. The Imbio CT Lung Density Analysis software provides CT values for pulmonary tissue.
The algorithm from Icometrix offers icobrain, an FDA-cleared brain MRI tool intended for automatic labeling, visualization, and volumetric quantification of segmentable brain structures from a set of MR images.
TeraRecon's iNtuition Time Density Analysis for CT algorithm produces colorized parametric maps of the brain from time-resolved, thin-slice CT scans with contrast.
