CHICAGO - The Digital Mammographic Imaging Screening Trial (DMIST) of 2005 involved nearly 50,000 asymptomatic women who presented for screening mammography at 33 sites in the U.S. and Canada. Researchers have now used the DMIST data to evaluate which factors contribute to lesion visibility in both digital and analog mammography.
