Image analytics software developer Matrix Analytics has introduced version 3.0 of its LungDirect cloud-based software for managing pulmonary "incidentalomas" and lung screening programs.
Version 3 includes SmartFlow, a new feature that enables users to customize their roles and assignments within the application to facilitate individualized workflows and management of tasks, according to the firm. Matrix Analytics said it has also revamped the user interface and enhanced its patient letter templates. Furthermore, new machine automation frees users from having to perform low-level tasks, the company said.
Current LungDirect users will receive the update at no extra cost. Matrix Analytics said it will have deployed LungDirect in 20 hospitals in the U.S. by the end of 2017.
