Digisonics readies upgrades for ASE 2017

Image management firm Digisonics will highlight new cardiovascular information system capabilities at this week's American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) annual scientific sessions in Baltimore.

The company will present a new virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) platform that aims to provide higher levels of security, availability, and remote reading access. In addition, the VDI platform features improved image transmission performance, billing automation with quality control, and new interfaces to advanced image analysis software, Digisonics said.

In addition, Digisonics will showcase a data mining and business analytics package designed to streamline accreditation requirements and management reporting for clinicians, the company said. It allows users to gain insight into patient populations, measure performance, determine areas for improvement, and plan for future growth.
