Medical image-sharing software developer LifeImage has introduced version 5.0 of its LifeImage enterprise image-sharing platform.
LifeImage 5.0 offers several new features, including the ability to provide clinicians with access to a patient's imaging history from both internal and external locations, according to the vendor. In addition, physicians working in multiple locations can now review and annotate images simultaneously, the firm said.
The company said it has also incorporated support for the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard, which enables radiologists to access data from other sources for comparison purposes. In other additions, LifeImage 5.0 now fully integrates with Client Outlook's eUnity zero-footprint viewing platform.
