IAC launches cardiac EP accreditation

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) has launched a cardiac electrophysiology (EP) accreditation program.

The program offers accreditation in testing and ablation, device implantation, and chronic lead extraction. It is supported by the following sponsoring organizations:

  • American College of Cardiology (ACC)
  • Heart Rhythm Society (HRS)
  • Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES)
  • Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals (SICP)
