Informatics and digital radiography (DR) firm Viztek has released its Basic U-Arm digital x-ray system.

Suitable for urgent care and orthopedic settings, as well as other applications, Basic U-Arm can perform a broad range of studies, including true cross-table lateral, standing hip, and table hip exams, according to the vendor. The system features a 17 x 17-inch cesium iodide detector and also includes a dual-speed motorized swivel arm. Basic U-Arm runs on Viztek's Ultra software platform.
