Rayence ships new DR software

Rayence has begun shipping its flat-panel digital radiography (DR) detectors with enhanced XmaruView V1 image acquisition software.

The new software is the third version developed by Rayence in as many years. It is Microsoft Windows 8.1 ready and has a new image processing engine with advanced anatomical algorithms. It also features four consoles for medical, chiropractic, veterinary, and podiatry applications and includes a miniPACS.

In addition to automasking and autocropping software enhancements, XmaruView V1 provides image cloning and programmable grid pattern removal (GPR) selection that is grid- and destination-specific. The software also has the ability to send DICOM images to multiple destinations with different image compression formats, Rayence said.
