Swissray launches ddR Versa

Digital radiography (DR) developer Swissray International has launched its new fully automated multidetector DR system, the ddR Versa, at the RSNA 2011 meeting in Chicago.

The ddR Versa features the company's exclusive Automated Positioning System, and is multifunctional and fully automated with a motorized ceiling suspension, a fixed positioning table with elevating base, and four-way floating top plus a separate wall stand.

The ddR Versa's lightweight ergonomic design and many automated features offer smooth and fast positioning for better image quality and increased patient throughput, according to Swissray.
