CoActiv to debut Web-based RIS at RSNA

PACS vendor CoActiv Medical plans to launch Exam-RIS 2.0, a customizable Web-based RIS that brings a range of features to the management of medical images, at this month's RSNA annual meeting in Chicago.

Exam-RIS 2.0 integrates with the company's Exam-PACS and is powered by Swearingen RISynergy. It features specialized worklists and automated referring physician communication to an HL7 interface, the firm said.

A patient registration feature captures data from other hospital systems, or data can be entered directly into the system, according to CoActiv.
