ZyDoc releases RIS/PACS reporting module

Medical information and transcription services provider ZyDoc of Hauppauge, NY, announced the release of its new MediSapien natural language processing (NLP) structured reporting module for its RIS/PACS at the RSNA meeting in Chicago this week.

The MediSapien module is the latest addition to the company's ZyDoc Medical Knowledge Management Suite. It is designed to facilitate the capture, conversion, storage, and sharing of data that require structured terminology to meet interoperability and healthcare analytics, according to the company.

MediSapien allows radiologists to continue using dictation as their preferred method of efficient data capture and to achieve important eligibility requirements for meaningful use incentives with structured reporting terminology. In addition, it is designed to improve workflow and provide billing and coding data with recovery audit contractor (RAC) traceability.
