Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC, is showcasing its work-in-progress software version for its Impax Data Center Viewer powered by Xero technology, to enable support of Apple's iPad.
The software is designed to enable point-of-care access to patient images, including large multislice CT studies and reports, as part of the electronic health record (EHR) on the iPad. The software does not require additional client software or plug-ins, allowing clinicians to access imaging information securely from an authorized location on a variety of Web-enabled devices.
Agfa is showing this work-in-progress software at the RSNA 2010 meeting in Chicago this week.
