Interface developer Dicom Systems of San Francisco unveiled the latest automated feature for its DCMSYS router at this week's RSNA meeting in Chicago.
Prior auto-query is a fully automated feature that assists medical professionals to immediately populate their PACS with all relevant prior studies of a given patient. It is designed to improve efficiency in reading imaging studies and eliminate the search for relevant studies. In addition, the feature places relevant research and information at the clinician's fingertips and takes advantage of interoperability aspects between DICOM devices, according to Dicom Systems.
