Dr. Fred Prior has joined Kodak subsidiary Cemax-Icon of Fremont, CA, as vice president of R&D and chief technical officer, Cemax-Icon has announced. Prior's extensive experience as both a supplier and clinical user of PACS and RIS will be put to good use as Cemax-Icon develops its next generation of integrated PACS products, the company said. Prior was one of the primary architects of the Siemens PACS product line, and has also served on several DICOM committees and other industry groups, according to Cemax-Icon.
