June 14, 2012 -- Image management technology developer Acuo Technologies has signed PACS veteran Barry Gutwillig as senior director of business development.

Gutwillig comes to Acuo after serving as vice president of business development at teleradiology services provider Virtual Radiologic. Prior to that, Gutwillig was co-founder of PACS vendor Amicas, which was later acquired by Merge Healthcare.
In his new role, Gutwillig will be responsible for managing Acuo's list of alliance and channel partners.
