Novarad to unveil NovaGlass for multiple platforms

RIS/PACS firm Novarad said it will launch new software called NovaGlass at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting that brings PACS images to a variety of platforms, including tablets and laptop computers.

Designed to broaden the utility of Novarad's PACS and RIS software, NovaGlass is installed on enterprise-grade appliances and allows users full access to imaging features while significantly enhancing operating speeds and choice of workstations, the company stated.

Utilizing virtual application and desktop technology from Sphere 3D, NovaGlass delivers Novarad's Marz vendor-neutral archive software on a variety of computing devices, including PCs, Macs, iPads, laptop computers, Android tablets, and Google Chromebooks.

The new platform will give users access to several new features and ways of deploying images that were previously unavailable, Novarad said.
