Horse auction house adds Eklin workstations

Veterinary imaging provider Eklin Medical Systems has expanded the number of digital radiology review workstations in use at the Keeneland thoroughbred auction house in Louisville, KY.

Keeneland went from using 12 Eklin workstations at last year's 2006 Yearling Sale to 32 workstations at this year's sale. Keeneland is also using the Eklin technology, called Eklin Digital Repository, at this year's Breeding Stock Sale, now under way.

Eklin partnered with Cedara Software of Mississauga, Ontario (a subsidiary of Merge Healthcare and shareholder in Eklin), to develop Eklin Digital Repository.
