Agfa to launch new DR panel at RSNA 2016

Agfa HealthCare plans to debut a new retrofit digital radiography (DR) detector package at the upcoming RSNA 2016 meeting in Chicago.

DX-D 60 Retrofit is the company's latest addition to its portfolio of DR detectors. It offers a vendor-neutral retrofit and includes Agfa's Musica image processing as well as a cassette-sized, 17 x 17-inch detector that can fit into existing x-ray bucky trays, the company said.

The new detector will be available with either gadolinium or cesium scintillator material, according to Agfa.
