Viztek inks contract with Texas pediatric care center

Informatics and digital radiography (DR) firm Viztek announced that a Texas pediatric urgent care facility has purchased the company's Ultra Straight Arm DR with a pediatric imaging software package.

NiteHawk Pediatric Urgent Care of Wylie is the first facility in Texas to install the unit, according to Viztek. There are about 9,000 urgent care centers in the U.S., but less than 3% are pediatric-focused, the company said.
