PerkinElmer to show new DR panels at Chinese meeting

PerkinElmer plans to showcase new flat-panel digital radiography (DR) detectors at the upcoming China International Medical Equipment Fair in Shanghai.

The company will highlight two work-in-progress detectors: XRD 4343RF and Dexela 2321. XRD 4343RF is a 43 cm x 43-cm detector for use as a component in radiography, fluoroscopy, and conebeam CT systems. Dexela 2321 is a 23 cm x 21-cm real-time detector for use as a component in mobile C-arm and other fluoroscopy systems, according to the firm.
